Scholar Spotlight: Our Aeta Scholars from Pampanga
"We are no longer invisible; we are indispensable."
The Background:
For the Aeta community in Pampanga, access to higher education and specialized technical training has historically been limited by both distance and financial barriers. Jay Em Ramos grew up in the shadow of Mt. Pinatubo, where opportunities for formal industry training were scarce.
The Journey:
Through our dedicated IP Scholar Program, Jay Em Ramos received full document assistance to navigate the enrollment process for Dualtech. The foundation provided not just the scholarship, but the "bridge" to adjust to life in a training facility.
The Impact:
Jay Em Ramos has become a standout student in mechanical assembly. "Many people think our community only knows the forest," Jay Em Ramos explains. "But at Dualtech, I proved that my hands are just as capable of fixing complex machines. My success is a victory for my whole community."
